PROCEEDS BENEFIT INDEPENDENT RESTAURANT COALITION (IRC)
The team behind "Live From Out There" and Ross James (Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band), announce "Dine From Out There," a one of a kind socially distanced culinary and live music experience. With concerts indefinitely on hold and restaurants struggling to keep doors open, "Dine from Out There" brings together the top chefs, restaurants, bartenders, and musicians across the country to provide support and creative outlets to musicians and restaurants during these unprecedented times. For info and tickets please visit www.DineFromOutThere.com.
"During these difficult times, we are missing the connection that dinning out and live music provides in our lives. Our goal with these events is to create a very unique experience by merging the best in music and food. We are also thrilled to support the industries we love and give back to local musicians and restaurants," says Ben Baruch of 11E1even Group.
11E1even Group launched "Live From Out There" with a simple mission – to provide viewers a constant flow of easily accessible, never before seen digital content while supporting artists and crew members affected by loss of work due to COVID-19. Now five months in the making, they have raised over $750K and with "Dine From Out There," they are expanding their efforts to include chefs, restaurants and mixologists who have been impacted by the pandemic. As a Colorado based management company, 11E1even Group is dedicated to supporting local business and connecting their community through music.
"Just as the restaurant industry is facing 2020 with what can come across as insurmountable obstacles, live music and musicians have also had their livelihood rocked through 2020," says Bobby Stuckey, owner and Master Sommelier at Sunday Vinyl and IRC leadership member. "Musicians, like restaurants, are here to enrich our soul. Let's help support Colorado & US musicians like we're trying to support Colorado & US restaurants. We are proud to welcome in Ross James and be a part of the Dine From Out There series. Ross is not only a talented musician, but a great lover of food and wine."
The inaugural event was held Thursday night at Boulder, CO’s acclaimed Corrida Roof Top overlooking the Boulder Flatirons. The two sold out seatings combined a four-course meal and beverage pairings with a night of Jazz and Funk from Colorado's own Big Gigantic and Joey Porter & Garrett Sayers (The Motet). The Spanish steakhouse, inspired by the owners’ travels to the Basque Country of Northern Spain, is one of the 25 best Front Range restaurants in 2019, as selected by 5280 Magazine.
"We are super excited to be collaborating with Ben and his team on these events," says Bryan Dayton, owner and Beverage Director at Acorn and Oak. "Like food, music is also nourishment for the body and soul. Both of these things have been taken away from us and it’s been hard hitting. It’s an honor to be a part of the Dine From Out There series, where food and live music will come together once again in an intimate open air environment. We are stoked to have local musicians who have shaped Colorado’s music scene and generally play amazing venues, like Red Rocks, in the house. Glad we can have some sense of normality during this time period."
"Dine From Out There" is thrilled to announce the first series of unforgettable events at some of Colorado’s premier restaurants featuring an all-star Colorado music lineup.
