New Social Hall, Number Thirty Eight, Paves Way for Future of Going Out

Dare we say it, but this is unprecedented.

Kitchens run by a Michelin Star chef, bars tended by the best local talent, and music played by Denver’s finest. Number Thirty Eight’s grand opening has ears perking up all over the city to the sound of a safe outing.

From the beginning, Number Thirty Eight always strived for a more autonomous experience, yet with COVID-19, they’re arguably one of the safest and innovative concepts in town. As you enter, you’re asked for your ID for contact tracing, followed by your credit card that is loaded onto your wristband, allowing a completely card-less and contactless experience. All you need to order a beer from their impressive taproom is a bartender to pour. No more waiting in lines just to close out either; when you’re ready to go, you’re good to go. A 17.5% gratuity is automatically added to your charge at the end of the night; however, after tasting Chef Merlin Verrier’s tacos, you’ll be asking to tip a bit more.

After spending a decade as the head chef at Lollapalooza and picking up more than a few Michelin stars in Chicago, Chef Merlin Verrier made the move to Denver claiming that other than the team he earned Michelin stars with, “this is the best team I’ve worked with. We’ve got some of the best talent from the city’s most respected restaurants.” The year Denver faced and is still facing together has shown how much people matter. With massive layoffs ripping through fine dining, Number Thirty Eight has allowed top talent to continue their passion surrounded by those equally as passionate about each other. Verrier echoes this sentiment calling his team a family.

Spencer Fronk and Andrew Palmquist, the co-founders of Number Thirty Eight, not only wanted to bring après to the city, but also bring music to RiNo. Fronk says, “RiNo brings so many artists and creatives to the area, but music is an artform that’s overlooked sometimes.” With that in mind, local musicians have been lining up to perform at Denver’s newest stage. Not forgetting that a major factor in Number Thirty Eight  has been supporting local people and businesses, Fronk and Palmquist made sure artists were given everything they needed to perform. A state-of-the-art sound system and a merch area that’s manned by Thirty Eight’s own employees, giving the musicians their focus and attention back to the audience.

Perhaps the most respectable aspect of Number 38 is the full and utter embrace of Colorado. If Colorado chooses to snow, they’ll sing in snow. They’ll drink in sleet, eat in rain, and with how 2020’s gone, they’ll play volleyball in a hurricane. The garage doors stay open day in and day out, welcoming après to RiNo.

Freshman Bath Soak, Flewd, Just Made Varsity

They may be young, but they know their way around a tub. Flewd, fresh to the market by a month and already toting an impressive resume, takes self-care one step further. Unafraid to confront the mental toll COVID provides and devoted enough to go through years of scientific journals to ensure their product is effective, Flewd combats stress, muscle aches, and insomnia via transdermal bath soaks. In their six weeks of being on the market, they’ve already received responses praising their affordable, yet effective soaks.

Ache Erasing Bath Treatment, $8.95

Ache Erasing Bath Treatment, $8.95

Michael Lupo, the founder of Flewd, places a massive emphasis on really, three things: attainability, capability, and sustainability. People are stocking their top shelves with rising stacks of products promising calming and relaxing benefits. Not to bring in linguistics (but to bring in linguistics), self-care is defined as “the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one’s own health.” Taking care of yourself can be something as simple as an extra five minutes, but the best form of self-care is prolonged, effective, and preserved care. The rising cost of products, the increasing amounts of stress, and the lack of tangible results don’t align. Rather than throwing your money at the problem, why not just soak in it?

Anxiety Destroying Bath Treatment, $8.95

Anxiety Destroying Bath Treatment, $8.95

In addition to becoming the first “transdermal nutrient solution to combat daily stress at its source,” Flewd is also curating specific mix tapes dependent on your soak. Insomnia-Ending featuring Nick Hakin, Ache Erasing paired with Jorja Smith, and Anxiety Destroying coming in with Blood Orange. While Flewd is new, they’re clearly taking notes from other major performance-based brands. Lupo and co. have created something more than an icy hot patch for the tub. They’ve created an experience for just $8.95 – an easy, fluid experience that lingers long after you step out of the bath.

Saucy Chix Giving Us That "Tender Lovin" Chicken We All Need

Saucy Chix_Big Chix Platter_To Go-2.jpg

Dining out at restaurants has taken a unusual turn due to the COVID crisis and while many are beginning to open up again, it has become a rather challenging time for many. Many restaurants have opted for takeout and curbside pickup options. The team behind Morning Story has launched a new concept: Saucy Chix, offering freshly-fried chicken takeaway and delivery, from 4-10 p.m. daily, from the same Denver and Arvada locations: 560 S. Holly Street and 8025 Sheridan Blvd, respectively.

Morning Story will continue to offer diners daily breakfast, brunch and lunch, but beginning at 4 p.m., the kitchens will prepare and package menu items for Saucy Chix, the casual delivery and takeout-friendly local fried chicken joint, specializing in house-made sauces.

With freshly-fried chicken at the forefront, the Saucy Chix menu features “Tender Lovin’” chicken platters and “Mother Clucking” fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, including the Swaddled Chix: Chicken strips wrapped in a giant spinach tortilla with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and buttermilk ranch sauce, and the Bare Naked Chix: A grilled chicken breast with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, zesty pickles and house sauce. Starters – or “Chicken Feed” – such as fried pickles, onion rings and waffle fries, along with an array of salads, sides and sweets round out the menu. The complete menu is complemented by a thoughtful variety of house-made dipping sauces, including a secret-ingredient House Sauce,  The Original Buffalo, Buttermilk Ranch, Scorpion Ranch, Golden BBQ, Honey Dijon and Sweet & Spicy Thai, allowing guests to personalize every bite.

Saucy Chix_Tablescape_To Go-2.jpg

“With this new concept, we want to offer our guests something delicious and comforting, all while being incredibly convenient,” said James Gregory, owner of Saucy Chix and Morning Story. “With diners continuing to seek options that are delivery/take-away friendly, Saucy Chix will meet that need, providing a variety of new, fresh and customized choices for busy families and individuals on-the-go.”

We have had a chance to sample some of this goodness and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a well rounded lunch/dinner with an amazing sides and an array of sauces for you to dip in.

Patron Saint of Kimchi Launches KREAM Kimchi with Entire Community Backing

Standing in line under a blistering sun at the Penn St. Market at Uncle West Wash Park waiting for my jar of kimchi, the man in front of me turns around, looks me dead in the eyes and says, “This stuff is the shit.”

Photo taken by Dalton Butler

In a solid homage to the Wu Tang Clan, Virgil Dickerson created KREAM Kimchi -- with kimchi ruling everything around him. And now, through the shutdown and quarantining, he’s been kind enough to let it rule our lives. After delivering over 500 jars of kimchi throughout COVID to his friends and family (and even strangers) by foot, bike, and rarely car, his responses became deafening – “You need to sell the kimchi.” Dickerson’s been thanked by home-made everything: bread, cookies, pies and casseroles; beer, cider and spirits; a massage, and a million letters of thanks. The man is a hometown walking. Thank the friends, thank Dickerson, but most importantly, thank this mom. Using his mother’s kimchi recipe, Dickerson makes every single batch with her in mind, fermenting cabbage in her honor. So rarely is a product grounded within family with roots that grab hold of a community. The day KREAM Kimchi launched in Wash Park, Instagram stories were covered in high hopes and congratulations for Dickerson, ranging all the way from local newspapers, best friends, and those who love the kimchi so much they became family.

KREAM Kimchi comes in vegan and traditional style, is available in 32oz. jars, and of course signed by Dickerson himself. The jars also note the music playing while the kimchi was packaged. People like their plants listening to Mozart and their cabbage listening to Mac – and I like that Dickerson knows that. Pick up KREAM Kimchi, merch and more at the Wash Park Famer’s Market every Saturday from 8:00am – 2:00pm. To order online, visit KREAM Kimchi’s website and wait for email confirmation!

'Colorado-born, Spanish Raised' Ah-So Wine Summer Release

Allow the folks over at Ah-So Wines to end the debate once and for all: yes, canned wine can have the same quality as bottled wine. Using only organic ingredients from their vineyards in Spain, hand picking each grape, and being one of the few canned wine producers making estate grown and canned wines, Ah-So should be on the top of everyone’s list – it’s already made Forbes’.

9E7DB70E-AA2D-45E0-A870-DE6BA05FD5DA.jpeg

First and foremost, the team at Ah-So focuses their main efforts on the grape. All Ah-So wines are 100% garnacha. “Though we may have a fun story and a great design, we also know that great wine starts at the vineyard. No matter if it’s in a can or a bottle,” (Ah-So). Ah-So checks all three boxes with flying colors: fun story with a great team, classy marketing, and meticulous attention to the vine. The cans sport a paper wrapping typically found on glass bottles, bringing in that same level of elevation to an aluminum can. (Not to mention, their cans are far better for the environment, leaving a smaller carbon footprint.) In addition to the environment and the creative marketing, Ah-So also utilizes new methods of technology. “The wine is canned near an anaerobic environment with 90% less oxygen than in bottled wine, so it remains completely fresh,” (Ah-So).

In addition to the wine itself compromising absolutely nothing, the founders also found a way to give back to the community during COVID. Co-founder, Carrie Chiappetta, a local ICU nurse working COVID floors during the pandemic, as well as the two other founders, Carlos Lopez de la Lacalle and Dustin Chiappetta, are donating 10% on all 2020 profits to Nurses House.

DF2602D0-4C5D-4E82-B374-4E1F15C2434B.jpeg

Ah-So’s lineup currently includes white, rose, red, and their summer release, bubbles. Forbes included Ah-So in their piece, “Drink well with 20 Tempting Organic Wines.” Wine Advocate rates both the rose and the red with 88 points, noting the rose’s “fresh, clean aromas and flavors on strawberry candy.” James Suckling gave their white 90 points, claiming it to be a “fresh and fun white with pears and melon, and a lively smooth and gentle creamy palate.”

Ah-So has recognized that people don’t want to keep giving up quality when buying canned wine to take on hikes, picnics, or walks – nor should they have to. Their commitment and devotion to creating canned wine through environmentally friendly and technologically savvy methods will have even the oenophiles taking a second look.

Dine From Out There Brings One of A Kind Culinary & Music Experience

11E1EVEN GROUP AND ROSS JAMES ANNOUNCE

"DINE FROM OUT THERE"

ONE OF A KIND SOCIALLY DISTANCED CULINARY AND LIVE MUSIC EXPERIENCE

WITH INTIMATE MEALS, DRINKS AND PERFORMANCES

PROCEEDS BENEFIT INDEPENDENT RESTAURANT COALITION (IRC)

1E7E8721-E888-4F7D-A9F6-401EFD0813C7.jpeg

The team behind "Live From Out There" and Ross James (Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band), announce "Dine From Out There," a one of a kind socially distanced culinary and live music experience. With concerts indefinitely on hold and restaurants struggling to keep doors open, "Dine from Out There" brings together the top chefs, restaurants, bartenders, and musicians across the country to provide support and creative outlets to musicians and restaurants during these unprecedented times. For info and tickets please visit www.DineFromOutThere.com.

"During these difficult times, we are missing the connection that dinning out and live music provides in our lives. Our goal with these events is to create a very unique experience by merging the best in music and food. We are also thrilled to support the industries we love and give back to local musicians and restaurants," says Ben Baruch of 11E1even Group.

11E1even Group launched "Live From Out There" with a simple mission – to provide viewers a constant flow of easily accessible, never before seen digital content while supporting artists and crew members affected by loss of work due to COVID-19. Now five months in the making, they have raised over $750K and with "Dine From Out There," they are expanding their efforts to include chefs, restaurants and mixologists who have been impacted by the pandemic. As a Colorado based management company, 11E1even Group is dedicated to supporting local business and connecting their community through music.

"Just as the restaurant industry is facing 2020 with what can come across as insurmountable obstacles, live music and musicians have also had their livelihood rocked through 2020," says Bobby Stuckey, owner and Master Sommelier at Sunday Vinyl and IRC leadership member. "Musicians, like restaurants, are here to enrich our soul. Let's help support Colorado & US musicians like we're trying to support Colorado & US restaurants. We are proud to welcome in Ross James and be a part of the Dine From Out There series. Ross is not only a talented musician, but a great lover of food and wine."

The inaugural event was held Thursday night at Boulder, CO’s acclaimed Corrida Roof Top overlooking the Boulder Flatirons. The two sold out seatings combined a four-course meal and beverage pairings with a night of Jazz and Funk from Colorado's own Big Gigantic and Joey Porter & Garrett Sayers (The Motet). The Spanish steakhouse, inspired by the owners’ travels to the Basque Country of Northern Spain, is one of the 25 best Front Range restaurants in 2019, as selected by 5280 Magazine

"We are super excited to be collaborating with Ben and his team on these events," says Bryan Dayton, owner and Beverage Director at Acorn and Oak. "Like food, music is also nourishment for the body and soul. Both of these things have been taken away from us and it’s been hard hitting. It’s an honor to be a part of the Dine From Out There series, where food and live music will come together once again in an intimate open air environment. We are stoked to have local musicians who have shaped Colorado’s music scene and generally play amazing venues, like Red Rocks, in the house. Glad we can have some sense of normality during this time period."

"Dine From Out There" is thrilled to announce the first series of unforgettable events at some of Colorado’s premier restaurants featuring an all-star Colorado music lineup.

Project Joy Bomb Brings Unexpected Social-Distanced Parades

With the increasing surge of COVID-19 cases in Denver and bars closing back down, we could all use a gentle reminder to stay safe, wear a mask, and bring a little joy (distanced!) to those around us. Project Joy Bomb, a roaming performance troupe, is doing just that and more. Featuring musicians, artists, and performances, Project Joy Bomb visits areas most impacted by coronavirus, bringing new PPE, food donations, and a little bit of entertainment.

unnamed.jpg

Performers and other artists have faced critical losses due to COVID-19. However, rather than ceasing performances or shutting down, The Handsome Little Devils pivoted to social distanced parades for those in need, while simultaneously providing work for local artists.

Not only is the troupe bringing laughter and smiles via unique parades and shows, but they’ve also partnered with several companies to bring more than just performances. Project Joy Bomb is currently partnering with Cherry Arts to provide art kits to families of health care workers as well as 40 West Arts District, the West Colfax BID, West Colfax Association of Neighbors, DOTI, Denver Health and the Colorado Hospital Association.

U37A0507 (1).jpg

While Project Joy Bomb was far larger in times before coronavirus, they transitioned quickly and organically into a completely different performance. Luckily, Cole Huling, of The Handsome Little Devils and creator of Project Joy Bomb, said, “we’ve been creating mobile stages and contraptions for festivals for years, so we already knew a lot about what was needed to do. The most difficult part is having to keep all the surfaces, and everyone sanitized. It takes a lot longer to set up and pack down without multiple people helping and keeping track of everything that’s been cleaned. Those long days are challenging while also wearing a mask nonstop.”

U37A0424.jpg

In an effort to ensure their audience is mainly those impacted by COVID, Project Joy Bomb will never announce their performance and at times will have to leave due to gathering crowds of too many people. “At the hospital,” Cole said, “we have two experiences – we can perform for staff outside and they respond verbally and with applause. But for the patients, we’re performing to faces behind tinted glass windows. It’s a little strange, but seeing them waving and smiling warms our hearts.” Cole furthered that the response from the community has been immense and at times overwhelmingly emotional. So, while you can’t attend the performances, you can donate to their GoFundMe account to still have a presence and a joyous impact on those battling COVID-19.

Things Your Mom Actually Wants

For all the times you slammed her door open at 2 am and whisper-yelled “MOM.” As our screen time rockets up almost 45%, we’ve been exposed to a solid 45% more ads on our phones, laptops, and commercial breaks. Think of the ads that slip in between the Instagram stories, the trending hashtags, the discounted food. In my best Dora voice… “Can you find the gift?” Consider me the map as we journey through the tumultuous terrain of a mother’s mind.

Sendables

Your mom doesn’t want COVID-19 for Mother’s Day, so let’s try to keep a distance here.

Flowers and/or Foliage. Predictable, yes, but never unappreciated. Keep it simple and classy, just like her. Some of our favorite companies include, Fresh Sends (Denver locals sending nationwide), Urban Stems, and Bloom. For the plant-loving mother, might we recommend Bloomscape or The Sill.

Greetabl. These tiny, underrated boxes pack a heavy punch. Greetabl boxes let you build your own box design, write personalized messages, embed pictures in the design, and include confetti and a gift. It’s like buying a Hallmark card with your face on it, folding it into a box, putting a gift (as large as a small candle), and delivering it right to her mailbox.

Home-made is where the heart is. Make an extra loaf of banana bread.

Fun fact: Mother’s are quarantining. They are also wearing sweats. Next time you go to order more WFH fits, grab an extra for your mom. BONUS – tie-dye the sweats. Homemade AND fashionable.

WFH Goodies. My mom swears by her little bike pedals that she keeps under her desk. She works til 5:00 p.m. but rides til dawn.

Candles. Again, basic, but has anyone been upset they got another candle? Some of our favorites include:

Ranger Station - glass bases can be used as whiskey glasses after use.

Image Retrieved from Ranger Station Instagram

Diptyque - for the high-class woman who happens to be your mother. A little bit pricey but comes in mini-sets at a lower price point.

Otherland – Three packs feature solid Mother’s Day puns – sure to make even your dad laugh.

Image Retrieved from Otherland Instagram

Roen -  These are too beautiful not to smell good.

Anthropologie – Volcano will never not be relevant.

Alcohol. Pay her back for filling her vodka bottles with water when you were 17. You have to go this one alone as lightning does not strike twice and no mother has the same taste in liquor. For example, my mother is a Gewürztraminer girl and I could not make that up.

Wine – Chances are some of her favorite restaurants are selling bottles for pickup or delivery. Check out Postino, Barcelona Wine Bar or Noble Riot.

Cocktails – One of the silver linings in quarantine is cocktails togo. There are so many restaurants offering this service. If she’s into making cocktails at home, WithCo delivers pre-mixes for almost every kind of liquor.

Just in time for the Full Moon tomorrow...Breckenridge Brewery has created the Howler Crowler to celebrate the nightly howl and 100% of proceeds go to charity. See below the details and the cool image of the can.

You can hear it every night: Coloradans letting out howls at 8PM for a variety of reasons, from giving thanks to healthcare heroes’ selfless acts during the pandemic to finding joy in feeling united as a community.

Breckenridge Brewery wants to keep fueling those nightly howls across Denver-area communities, so they are releasing Howler Crowlers: custom crowler cans (32 oz) filled with your Breck beer of choice! 100% of Howler Crowler profits will be donated to Project C.U.R.E., which supports our local healthcare system by donating medical supplies to hospitals in need.

‘We Create Anyway’ Launches Contest to Encourage Creativity at Home During COVID19

Participants will be selected at random to win numerous $500 cash prizes

An array of creatives have teamed up to launch ‘We Create Anyway’, the first virtual competition created to encourage creativity during the COVID19 lockdown. The competition will begin on April 2.

We Create Anyway is a movement started by a collective of creatives to inspire the world to create anyway in times of crisis. The competition asks for submissions of creativity ranging from photography, videography, painting, drawing, singing, songwriting, cocktail making, baking, you name it. Winners will be selected at random. No entry will be judged, handpicked, or critiqued in anyway. The purpose is to inspire creativity, not to judge it. Prizes include numerous $500 cash prizes and additional brand prizes that will be announced throughout the competition.

Image Provided by We Create Anyway

“We Create Anyway was started to inspire people to continue to create and be creative during this time of uncertainty, and to help relieve the financial burden coming down on the community around us,” said Elliott Clark, Co-Founder of Semi-Decent Creative and the social media personality behind @apartment_bartender. “Because in-person events aren’t currently an option and many creatives have lost brand partnerships and job opportunities, we’re focusing our efforts on digital creativity, leveraging the Apartment Bartender community and beyond.”

The contest begins on April 2, 2020. Two contest winners will be selected at random each week. People from all over the United States age 21 and up are invited to participate. Participants can enter as many times as they would like.

CONTEST OVERVIEW:

  1. Go to wecreateanyway.org to sign up and enter

  2. Follow @wecreateanway on Instagram (please note: your profile must be public to win)

  3. Like a @wecreateanyway post and tag a friend - (tag as many as you’d like)

  4. Create something! (Remember, put your heart into it)

  5. Post a video, photo, or mix of both in a carousel post to Instagram showcasing what you created with a detailed caption explaining your inspiration behind it. (Example: What did you learn? What did you hope to accomplish? What drove you to create this? What impact has this had on the people around you?)

  6. Two contest winners will be selected at random each week. The winners will be notified via email and social media.

  7. Enter again. You can create and enter as many times as you’d like in the 5 week contest period. (Please note: All submissions must follow the same rules in order to qualify).

This movement is made possible by William Grant & Sons, Q Mixers, Levecke Wine, Beer and Spirits, Beagans 1806, and Casa Mexico Tequila.

Along with inspiring creativity, We Create Anyway will be simultaneously raising funds for Another Round Another Rally, a non-profit working to provide relief aid to chefs, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, sommeliers, managers or someone who holds any other type of hospitality role that has lost their job due to COVID19. We Create Anyway has already raised $15,000.

Editor's Picks for Quarantining

Written by Jenna McGoldrick

My hands are cracking, my shoes are dusty, and I’ve found seven ways to use a rotisserie chicken. Between episodes of Tiger King, we’ve all had some time to reminiscence on the old days and what we’re going to do with the days of new. Here are some editor picks where we wish we were quarantining.

Red Rocks

Sorry Disneyland, the most magical place on Earth is right here in Colorado. Red Rocks is arguably one of the best venues in the nation, and not just for concerts. They host everything from morning yoga sessions to movies to graduations. You’ll probably find half the staff at Red Rocks the day they open back up.

Amigo Motor Lodge

I think I could quarantine for years at Amigo Motor Lodge. Situated in the heart of Salida, Amigo is a completely renovated motor lodge turned boutique hotel. Fresh coffee every morning, minimalistic rooms, and endless quips (insert exhale). There’s something in the water at Amigo, and I’m dehydrated.

Casa Bonita

Did somebody say sopaipilla? This Rainforest Café on steroids is most certainly on the list of places to go post-COVID. Featuring a 22-karat gold dome marking the entryway, the restaurant is filled to the brim with authenticity. Casa Bonita seats over 1,000 people, houses a massive waterfall with cliff divers, and there are plenty more activities such as Black Bart’s Cave.

-      Robert Castro, Editor in Chief

Ratio Beer Works

First, because beer. Second, because dogs. While Ratio is still offering to-gos and deliveries, you can’t help but miss sitting on the patio of one of the best breweries in town.

Check out Ratio’s website for pickup and delivery options.

Aviano Coffee

As luck would have it, I discovered the new Aviano on St. Paul a mere week before quarantine hit. Consider this my letter to a love I didn’t know I was losing. Maybe it’s the people, maybe it’s massive white granite bar outside, or maybe it’s the iced oat milk chai latte sweating under the sun. I take that back. I know it’s the iced oat milk chai.

Check out Aviano’s website for pickup options.

Bread Bar

Dripping in nostalgia, Bread Bar is the most elevated and intimate local watering hole. This tiny bar constantly stays well ahead of the trend with new cocktails and always has their hands on rare liquors yet to make their way to Denver.

Punch Bowl Social's Brunch Series Features Unique Retail Pop-Ins

Punch Bowl Social, the people who brought you in-house bowling alleys, electric darts, and now sport a room-for-rent for podcasts, launched their brunch series, Bloody Good Sundays, mid-February. With a Bloody Mary Bar worth writing home about and unique retailers each week, this Sunday brunch should be first on your list.

When hand-picking the retailers they wanted to feature for their series, Punch Bowl aimed for companies that offered a variety of unique products. “Our brunch and retail program is designed to further enhance the guest experience because who doesn’t like to shop after a few breakfast beverages and some brunch dishes,” (Punch Bowl Social). Previously, Punch Bowl featured The Moore Collection, Denver Plant Lady, and Vogel Haus Vintage. Upcoming retailers will include:

March 8: Two Little Fruits

March 15: Rizzo’s

March 22: Harper Made

March 29: B Fresh Gear

April 5: Tri Artisan and Vintage

Situated next to their Bloody Mary bar is a space carved for different retailers each week. This previous Sunday highlighted Vogel Haus Vintage, an online retailer featuring antique pieces ranging from apparel, jewelry, furniture and wall décor.

Beside the delicate antique glassware and throw-back newspaper images (two of which I did purchase), lies the beloved Bloody Mary Bar; and the bar holds several candles to their notorious punch bowls. Featuring toppings ranging all the way from your basic celery and olives, to bacon and shrimp, the bar is priced at $9 per glass – a deal for the amount of additives included.

Being the slave to my southern stomach that I am, I opted in for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was the perfect combination of crispy and savory but being doused with syrup and topped with strawberries makes it a natural contender to pop into your dreams later that week.

Now, our non-southern, non-carnivorous, photographer went the healthier route with an avocado toast equally as mouthwatering. Insanely decorated and far larger than any avocado toast we’ve ever seen, the plate also comes with a side of potatoes.

With enough alcoholic choices to get the entire state of Colorado buzzed and local shops with a myriad of product, Punch Bowl x Bloody Good Sundays could be your one-stop-shop for everything you need this weekend.
